Hillwood Estate, Museum & Gardens is a decorative arts museum in Washington, D.C. The former residence of businesswoman, socialite, philanthropist and collector Marjorie Merriweather Post.
One of the many beautiful flowers we saw as we walked the grounds of Hillwood Estate was the Moss Phlox. It is a dense ground cover blanketed with notch-petaled flowers in April and May. The flowers of phlox have five petals.
